get organized - tags

One aim of fluxiom is to reduce the time it takes to organize assets, without losing the big picture. It should be possible to store one asset in more than just one place—and this is the part where tags play the lead role…

fluxiom has two kinds of tags: The auto-tags (like “My assets”, “Last week”) are set by fluxiom depending on the properties of the asset. To create your own set of tags according to your wishes just switch to the “tag-admin” section, by clicking on the arrow on the right side on the main bar (note: you have to have “tag administration” rights):

You can add/rename/delete tags and change the order via drag and drop:

To tag your assets just select one or more assets and click the “Tags” icon.

Click the tags you want to assign – done.

With tags, organizing and finding stuff suddenly becomes manageable. No more digging around on the file server without finding anything.
