Fluxiom introduces object & scene detection for your images!

Thanks to Nik MacMillan, Holly Mandarich, Julie Macey and Shea Rouda for the perfect picture to illustrate the new Fluxiom feature “automatic labels for your images”.

In the details panel you will find the labels for your images

With this new feature Fluxiom can detect and recognise objects, people and scenes in your images for better search results.

The asset labels are trained and tested to reflect your image characteristics.
This means you can search after labels like “Tree” or “Human” or “Portrait” and many more to find your relevant asset.

Short facts about it:

  • The recognition and detection for the assets is done in Fluxiom – no 3rd party services are used to retrieve labels
  • The labels will be available instantly for all new uploads
  • For all existing images the labels will be generated until end of June

Stay tuned for updates in the next blogpost.

🎉🎉🙌We’re excited to announce that now all labels are generated for all users. 🎉🎉🙌

Fluxiom is now GDPR compliant

With the upcoming EU Data Regulation (GDPR) in May 25th, 2018 we are glad to inform you that Fluxiom already complies with this regulation. Please find below a brief description of what we added to our policies to make them more readable for you.

Privacy Policy

We split the Privacy Policy up into sections like the following:

  • Registration: with more details about where your data is needed.
  • Data & Personal Data: where your data is in use.
  • Your Controls and Choices: how you can handle opt-out choices.

Security Policy

We split the Security Policy up into sections like the following:

  • Data: to provide more information how we secure your data and where it is stored.
  • Data Transfer: to give you more information in your transit encryption.
  • Our Third Parties list: What Fluxiom uses to secure, support and save your data.

Our aim is to make our Policies easier to read and to understand.

Although we updated a lot of the wording in our Privacy Policy & Security Policy, our core values remain unchanged: your privacy is critically important to us and we care about your data.

  • We store personal information for only as long as necessary and legally allowed.
  • We aim for full transparency on how we gather, use, and share your personal information.

Our service is GDPR compliant with the update of our policies on and after May, 25th, 2018. If you have any further questions, please contact our support team at [email protected]

Fluxiom is getting GDPR ready

With the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, DSGVO in German) which will come into effect on May, 25 2018, we are right in the process of preparing Fluxiom, our digital asset management service to be compliant with the new regulations.

We will be compliant with the GDPR (DSGVO) in time on or before May, 25 2018. All our services are hosted in Austria, Europe.

What does this mean for you?

We will bring our security and privacy statements in line with the requirements of the GDPR, including details about where your data is saved, and which security processes will protect your data. And we will be making them clearer and easier to understand. We are reviewing our internal data practices to be sure that our processes are compliant.

We will be updating the terms and policies available here

These changes will apply to all Fluxiom customers. We will notify you as soon as these updates are available.

In the meantime, you are welcome to send us your questions to [email protected]
